COVID isn't over yet! Protect yourself by getting tested at ISPS.

Updated: Nov 24, 2022

The Department of Health, along with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., placed 32 areas under COVID-19 Alert Level 2 last November 1 to 15. In addition, 89 out of 121 areas are under Alert Level 1, including the National Capital Region.

This indicates that the fight against coronavirus is not yet finished. There may be a decrease in the active and new cases every day, but it does not mean that it is over.

The officer in charge of the Department of Health, Maria Rosario Vergeire, said in a statement: “While we see a continuous decline in case and admission trends, we must remember that deescalation does not mean that the battle with COVID-19 is already over. These current numbers are not permanent; we must all work together to maintain these low numbers.”

We are still at risk every day. In order to keep ourselves safe, we must follow the required guidelines such as wearing a face mask and practicing social distancing. However, these are not enough once we have the virus.

To know your status, get tested with ISPS.

In ISPS, we offer at-home and in-clinic testing for Rapid Antibody, Rapid Antigen (Swab and Saliva), and RT PCR for groups, individuals, and businesses facilitated by medical technicians, nurses and doctors.

We offer the following testing services:

Rapid Antibody Testing

Antigen Swab Testing

RT-PCR Testing

Rapid antigen or prick tests are a cheaper alternative to Antigen and PCR tests. They provide the fastest results (within minutes) while being the least invasive. Relying upon the immune response of the testee.

Rapid Antigen tests, also known as Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs), can detect viral proteins created by the COVID-19 virus in the body. RDTs are typically more accurate than Antibody tests, and while they are more expensive, they still provide a faster yield time than PCR tests (15-60 mins).

Molecular PCR tests, also called Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Nasopharyngeal tests (Nucleic Acid tests), are the most accurate COVID detection tests when performed under the correct conditions. However, they are also the most expensive and slowest in terms of results.
